Additional Interim Modifications. (i) Placement of ramps or blocks wherever an Oversized Vehicle will be required to climb and descend a curb. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall ensure that blocks and/or ramps placed in the City’s right of way do not cause any safety hazards and do not impede drainage or cause flooding if it rains.
(ii) Placement and configuration of temporary portable traffic signal devices to effectively direct traffic, and to minimize impacts and obstruction to the vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian areas of the right of way.
(iii) Placement of additional structural support for sidewalk and other areas outside of the street pavement which will be driven over by Oversized Vehicles. Such support may include adequately sized steel plates, which are appropriately roughened, secured, and ramped on all sides.
(iv) Placement of all necessary traffic control devices, and performance of all necessary traffic control work for Encroachment Permit work and for Oversized Vehicle Trips in accordance with traffic control plans approved by the City Engineer, and conforming to the current California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD).
(v) Provision and maintenance of all necessary delineation and traffic control to warn and protect pedestrians and other public traffic from the changed conditions created by ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.
Additional Interim Modifications. (i) Placement of all necessary traffic control devices, and performance of all necessary traffic control work for Encroachment Permit work and for Oversized Vehicle Trips in accordance with traffic control plans approved by the City Engineer, and conforming to the current California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD). Such work includes the provision of necessary detours for public traffic, as approved by the City Engineer.
(ii) Provision and maintenance of all necessary delineation and traffic control to warn and protect pedestrians and other public traffic from the changed conditions created by ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.
