Additional Dependents. Retirees eligible under this section, may enroll eligible dependent(s) in the County offered medical plan elected by the retiree but the retiree is responsible for all premium costs in excess of the County’s contribution.

  • Dependents Eligible dependents for the purposes of this Article are as follows:

  • Dependent Child If dependent children are covered under separate plans of more than one person, whether a parent or guardian, benefits for the child will be determined in the following order: • the benefits of the plan covering the parent born earlier in the year will be determined before those of the parent whose birthday (month and day only) falls later in the year; • if both parents have the same birthday, the benefits of the plan that covered the parent longer are determined before those of the plan which covered the other parent for a shorter period of time; • if the other plan does not determine benefits according to the parents' birth dates, but by parents' gender instead, the other plan’s gender rule will determine the order of benefits.

  • COBRA Continuation Coverage Upon the termination of Executive’s active employment with the Company, Executive shall be entitled to elect continued medical and dental insurance coverage in accordance with the applicable provisions of COBRA and the Company shall pay such COBRA premiums.

  • Non-dependent Dependent If you are covered under a plan and you are the main subscriber, the benefits of that plan will be determined before the benefits of a plan that covers you as a dependent. If, however, you are a Medicare beneficiary, then, in some instances, Medicare will be secondary and the plan, which covers you as the main subscriber or as a dependent, will be primary. If one of your dependents covered under this plan is a student, and has additional coverage through a student plan, then the benefits from the student plan will be determined before the benefits under this plan.

  • Retirement, Welfare and Fringe Benefits During the Period of Employment, the Executive shall be entitled to participate in all employee pension and welfare benefit plans and programs, and fringe benefit plans and programs, made available by the Company to the Company’s employees generally, in accordance with the eligibility and participation provisions of such plans and as such plans or programs may be in effect from time to time.

  • Extended Health Care Benefits 12.02(a) The City will provide for all employees by contract through an insurer selected by the City an Extended Health Care Plan which will provide extended health care benefits.   • ’ Compensation Insurance and Disability Benefits Requirements Sections 57 and 220 of the New York State Workers’ Compensation Law require the heads of all municipal and state entities to ensure that businesses applying for contracts have appropriate workers’ compensation and disability benefits insurance coverage. These requirements apply to both original contracts and renewals. Failure to provide proper proof of such coverage or a legal exemption will result in a rejection of any contract renewal. Proof of workers’ compensation and disability benefits coverage, or proof of exemption must be submitted to OGS at the time of policy renewal, contract renewal and upon request. Proof of compliance must be submitted on one of the following forms designated by the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. An XXXXX form is not acceptable proof of New York State workers’ compensation or disability benefits insurance coverage. Proof of Compliance with Workers’ Compensation Coverage Requirements:
