Additional cycle spaces. 7.1 The Franchisee shall apply for, and use all reasonable endeavours to obtain [REDACTED30] of funding from Cycle Rail (the “Cycle Rail Funding”). 7.2 If the Cycle Rail Funding is obtained from Cycle Rail the Franchisee shall apply such Cycle Rail Funding and incur additional expenditure of not less than [REDACTED31] in procuring the installation of not less than 100 (one hundred) new cycle spaces at Stations (together the “Additional Cycling Spaces”) by no later than the end of the Franchise Term. 7.3 The Parties acknowledge that, subject to the Secretary of State providing his prior written consent (such consent not to be unreasonably withheld), the actual expenditure incurred by the Franchisee in performing its obligations in paragraph 7.2 (and accordingly the number of Additional Cycling Spaces which the Franchisee is obliged to install) may be reasonably reduced having regard to the period of the Franchise Term remaining at such date when the Cycle Rail Funding is received.
