Addenda, Changes, and Interpretations Sample Clauses

The "Addenda, Changes, and Interpretations" clause establishes the procedures for modifying, supplementing, or clarifying the terms of a contract after it has been executed. Typically, this clause outlines how parties can formally issue addenda or amendments, specifies who has the authority to approve changes, and describes the process for resolving ambiguities or disputes over contract language. For example, it may require that all changes be made in writing and signed by authorized representatives of both parties. The core function of this clause is to ensure that any alterations or clarifications to the agreement are handled in an orderly, documented manner, thereby reducing misunderstandings and legal disputes.
