Common use of Actions by Lender Clause in Contracts

Actions by Lender. The Pledgor consents and agrees that, without notice to Pledgor and without affecting or impairing the obligations of Pledgor hereunder, Lender may, by action or inaction: compromise, settle, extend the time for payment of the Obligations with Pledgor or any party liable therefor; release Pledgor or any party from its liability for the Obligations; release all or any part of the security for the Obligations; modify any instruments or agreements relating to the Obligations (except this Agreement); extend the time for making any deposit or granting a security interest in property securing the Obligations; or refuse or fail to enforce its rights under any agreement or instrument evidencing or securing the Obligations.
