Action duration Sample Clauses
The "Action duration" clause defines the specific period during which certain actions or obligations under the contract must be performed or remain in effect. Typically, this clause will outline start and end dates, or specify triggering events that mark the beginning and conclusion of the relevant actions. For example, it may state that a party must provide services for a fixed term or that a particular obligation continues until a milestone is reached. The core function of this clause is to provide clear temporal boundaries, ensuring all parties understand when their responsibilities begin and end, thereby reducing ambiguity and potential disputes over timing.
Action duration. The action duration is fixed in the Data Sheet of the Grant Agreement. It usually comes from your proposal and is expressed as a number of months, running from the action starting date. The action end date shown in the system is the date that is automatically calculated from the starting date (starting date + months of duration). The action duration relates only to the period during which the action tasks (set out in Annex 1) are implemented. This is NOT the same as project closure (i.e. final payment) or the end of the Grant Agreement. After the action end date, the beneficiaries still have to submit their final report and the granting authority will have to make the payment of the balance. Moreover, certain obligations under the Grant Agreement continue even afterwards.
Action duration. The duration of the action (‘action duration’) is fixed by the Commission/Agency in the GA. It is expressed as a number of months, running from the action starting date until the end date of the action. The action duration relates only to the period during which the action tasks (set out in Annex 1) are implemented. The end date of the action is therefore NOT the same as ‘project closure’ or the end of the GA. After the end date of the action, the beneficiaries still have to submit their final report and the Commission/Agency has to make the payment of the balance. Moreover, certain obligations under the GA continue even afterwards.
