Acquisition and Distributors. Certain other business transactions and practices (such as mergers and acquisitions) may violate the antitrust laws if they "unreasonably" restrain trade or damage a competitor. The legal considerations involved in these transactions and practices can be very complex. Accordingly, you must consult the Law Department before entering into any agreement for (a) the acquisition of a business; (b) the formation, amendment or termination of any distributor agreement; or (c) the establishment of or deviation from a formal pricing policy or list.
