ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT. This position is accountable to the Manager Major projects and Waste for the accurate provision of efficient and effective administrative assistance to the waste management and major projects programs. The Administration / Data Entry Officer, shall be accountable to the Team Leader for adequate implementation of works programs, service and service delivery in a commercially orientated manner. Carry out test weighs of liveweight scales facility prior to and during operations. Provide efficient and accurate operation of the scale procedure, the ring selling process and provide reports to stakeholders at sales. Check the correctness of brand numbers, number and size of lots to be weighed and other relevant documentation provided by Stock Agents. Maintain confidentiality in respect of sale information. Compile regular reports and statistics of all sales. Process sales information to develop accounts and fee summaries for Stock Agents. Develop and maintain good public relations with all users of the Stock Selling Complex. As directed, assist the Saleyards Team Leader with other duties. Perform work within accepted guidelines, in the application of established practices and procedures. ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT. The Performing Arts Venue Director is accountable to the Manager Cultural Development & Libraries for the day to day management, leadership, development and promotion of the Swan Hill Town Hall PACC and Performing Arts program. The management, development and operation of the Town Hall PACC facilities to ensure the building is maintained in a safe, clean and tidy condition and co-ordinate with users to ensure that the facility is prepared in accordance with the users’ diverse requirements. POSITION OBJECTIVE The officer will be responsible for: Managing the development and administration of all aspects of Council’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Maintaining an awareness of trends and issues arising in GIS to ensure Council’s system is comparable with the best practices possible given the available resources. Administer, maintain and update Council’s internal MapInfo Exponare GIS and public facing MapInfo Stratus GIS Provide advice and write reports related to GIS matters. The position is employed to manage the Swan Hill Indoor Sport and Recreation Centre and reports to the Swan Hill Rural City Council’s Economic and Community Development Manager. Responsible for overall management, planning, organisation, conduct, supervision and evaluation of programs, activities and services in the Centre in accordance with the general policies of the Swan Hill Rural City Council and the Swan Hill Indoor Sport and Recreation Centre. • Build and initiate the business case for the centre, initiating creative new business opportunities that lead to sustainable operations. • Develop new programs and promote new sports to increase the use of the Centre including conducting competitions when necessary. • Develop imaginative and innovative marketing strategies to promote a range of new users of the Centre. • Develop and maintain a public relations and promotions program for the Centre and its activities. • Provide support and assistance to current users of the Centre where practical and with the approval of the Special Committee and Council. • Encourage and initiate voluntary assistance to support the operation of the Centre. • Assist the Special Committee in the preparation of the budget for the Centre.
