Common use of Account Management and Security Clause in Contracts

Account Management and Security. Only you and your Authorized Users may access and use your Deposit Account. Except as set forth in this Agreement or in accordance with applicable law, you are solely responsible for any actions or failure to act on the part of Authorized Users, and for all activity that occurs within your Deposit Account. We reserve the right to require separate written authorization, in a form acceptable to us, telling us who is authorized to act on your behalf, and to reject any Authorized Agents appointed by you in our sole discretion. You must keep your Deposit Account password secure. We encourage you to use “strong” passwords to protect your Deposit Account. For recommendations on what constitutes a strong password, check the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
