Accommodations for Disabilities. NCH is committed to complying with all applicable provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act as amended (“ADA”). It is the NCH’s policy not to discriminate against any qualified employee or applicant with regard to any terms or conditions of employment because of such individual’s disability. Consistent with the corresponding NCH policy of non-discrimination, NCH will provide reasonable accommodations to a qualified individual with a disability, as defined in the ADA, who has made NCH aware of his or her disability, unless doing so creates an undue hardship to NCH, or the individual poses a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace. Housestaff are encouraged to review the full details of NCH’s Reasonable Accommodation Under the Americans With Disabilities Act policy, which is available on the NCHSnet (intranet).
