The Accessible Format clause requires that information, documents, or materials be provided in formats that are usable by individuals with disabilities. This may involve supplying content in braille, large print, audio, or digital formats compatible with screen readers, depending on the needs of the recipient. The core function of this clause is to ensure equal access to information, removing barriers and promoting inclusivity for people with disabilities.
Accessible Format. Copies may only be distributed in the United Kingdom except that Accessible Copies of works published within the United Kingdom may be distributed elsewhere in the European Union and a third country that is a party to the Marrakesh Treaty 2013.
