Accessible Communication Clause Samples
Accessible Communication. Contractor shall develop policies and procedures regarding the use of accessible communication with attributed Members and care team participants. These shall include, at a minimum:
1. Access to an interpreter for any Members or care team participants.
2. Access to diverse means of communication and information sharing that support all levels of learning and/or disability.
3. Ensuring that accessible standards are upheld in all care delivery settings, whether face-to-face, telehealth, or accessing information in electronic or written formats.
Accessible Communication. Indivisible will maintain communications standards that include equity and accessibility requirements for all internal and public facing documents, digital tools and communications, including allowing for closed captioning, font and font size customization, and screenreader optimization wherever possible. All Indivisible staff will be required to give a warning on all Indivisible generated correspondence or materials if they contain flashing lights, strobes, or loud noises. This includes all training materials developed for staff.
