Common use of Access Agreements Clause in Contracts

Access Agreements. (1) The Government of Papua New Guinea may enter into access agreements with the following:- (a) States and regional economic integration organizations; (b) any fishing association or similar body, a publicly incorporated company, or an individual. (2) No foreign fishing vessel shall be used for fishing in the fisheries waters except pursuant to an access agreement and in accordance with a valid and applicable licence issued under Section 41 or Section 44.
