Absent Without Consent. The Agency must notify the Department as immediately as practical, but in no circumstance later than 24 hours after the absence, when a child in the care and custody or guardianship and custody of such Department is absent without consent and must follow the requirements as set forth in 18 NYCRR 431.8.
