Absence for Compelling Reason Clause Samples
The Absence for Compelling Reason clause allows an individual to be absent from their duties or obligations under a contract when a significant, unavoidable circumstance arises. This typically covers situations such as serious illness, family emergencies, or other events beyond the person's control, and may require the individual to provide notice or documentation supporting their absence. The core function of this clause is to provide flexibility and protection for parties facing unforeseen hardships, ensuring that unavoidable absences do not automatically result in breach of contract or penalty.
