3Replay Attack Sample Clauses

3Replay Attack. The replay attacks could be initiated by an adversary by replaying the intercepted content messages to forge or impersonate any legitimate participant. An attacker may intercept the messages ▇▇, ▇▇, ▇▇, ▇▇ and m5 on an insecure channel, and attempt to replay in other timings. In proposed scheme, this replay attack can be easily foiled by verifying the equality checks for HSxU ?= H(SK || TSr(x) || IDU || IDSx|| HSyU ) and H(SK || IDU || IDSx) ?= m5, since those equality checks will not hold true for any old values of Ta(x) and TSr(x). In this manner, impersonation attack will be defeated by any of the legal participant verifying the check.
