  • Application of Certain Laws and Regulations Neither any Borrower nor any Affiliate of any Borrower is subject to any law, statute, rule or regulation which regulates the incurrence of any Indebtedness, including laws, statutes, rules or regulations relative to common or interstate carriers or to the sale of electricity, gas, steam, water, telephone, telegraph or other public utility services.

  • Sunshine Ordinance Contractor acknowledges that this Agreement and all records related to its formation, Contractor’s performance of Services, and City’s payment are subject to the California Public Records Act, (California Government Code §6250 et. seq.), and the San Francisco Sunshine Ordinance, (San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 67). Such records are subject to public inspection and copying unless exempt from disclosure under federal, state or local law.

  • PLANNING ACT This Agreement shall be effective to create an interest in the property only if Seller complies with the subdivision control provisions of the Planning Act by completion and Seller covenants to proceed diligently at Seller’s expense to obtain any necessary consent by completion.

  • Massachusetts Law to Apply This Agreement shall be construed and the provisions thereof interpreted under and in accordance with laws of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

  • MINIMUM WAGE LAWS A. Pursuant to the United States of America Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, as amended, and State of California Labor Code, §1178.5, CONTRACTOR shall pay no less than the greater of the federal or California Minimum Wage to all its employees that directly or indirectly provide services pursuant to this Agreement, in any manner whatsoever. CONTRACTOR shall require and verify that all its contractors or other persons providing services pursuant to this Agreement on behalf of CONTRACTOR also pay their employees no less than the greater of the federal or California Minimum Wage.

  • Family Medical Leave Act The Board shall pay its share of the premiums for up to a total of twelve (12) weeks per year during an approved qualifying leave in accordance with the Family Medical Leave Act.

  • Public Utilities No Restricted Entity or Affiliate thereof is a "holding company," or a "subsidiary company" of a "holding company," or an "affiliate" of a "holding company" or of a "subsidiary company" of a "holding company," within the meaning of the Public Utility Holding Company Act of 1935, as amended. No Restricted Entity or Affiliate thereof is a regulated public utility.

  • Family and Medical Leave Act All employees who worked for the Employer for a minimum of twelve (12) months and worked at least 1250 hours during the past twelve (12) months are eligible for unpaid leave as set forth in the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993. Eligible employees are entitled to up to a total of 12 weeks of unpaid leave during any twelve (12) month period for the following reasons:

  • Fire Regulations All Exhibitors must comply with the regulations of the local authority and applicable law as they relate to the design and construction of Exhibition stands, and the use of suitably fireproofed materials.

  • Massachusetts Law This Agreement and all rights and obligations hereunder, including matters of construction, validity, and performance, shall be governed by the laws of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
