An agreement has been made between the Community Service and Continuing Education Deanship (CSCED) which will be referred to as the 1st party and the instructor referred to as the 2nd party:
This contract will be in accordance with the following terms and conditions: 1- The pay for one training hour is 150 Riyals (one hundred and fifty Saudi Riyals) for MA holders and 100 SR for BA holders in accordance with the payroll including examinations of the CSCEU. Instructor’s teaching hours will be a maximum of 25 hours per week. (5 hours / day, 5 days a week). 2- No meeting hours will be paid unless the discussed program is held. 3- No meeting hours will be considered unless an official meeting is held inside the meeting room at the deanship. 4- Placement test invigilation and marking hours (up to a combined maximum of 5 hours) will be paid for at the above stated rate of 150 riyals per hour. 5- A trainer is paid by a check issued after the end of the training program. Payments require time to be processed because they go through all the official financial channels of the University of Tabuk. 6- No payment will be given unless all marks and details of the program are handled to the supervisor as a soft and hard copy. 7- The contract will be valid for one semester or until the end of the course, regardless of which ends first. 8- The second party has to complete the job, observing the competitive nature of the CSCED. 9- Hours of absence or lateness will be discounted according to the reports of the supervisory unit. Teachers are to report absences or lateness immediately to ensure students are not negatively affected and replacement instructors can be found 10- Unexplained absences or lateness will not be tolerated. If a trainer is absent twice consecutively, the administration of the CSCED has the right to terminate his contract. 11- A teaching staff member's performance is subject to constant assessment by the CSCED. 12- In case of continual complaints by the students about the trainer due to his/her misunderstanding of the job or inappropriate conduct, the administration has the right to review the situation and terminate the contract immediately. 13- A trainer with a terminated contract gets paid only for the hours ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ taught by him/her. 14-In special circumstances, a trainer can cover classes for another trainer only after the approval of the dean. However, they cannot request any extra payments. 15-If a teacher stops teaching, for whatever reason, without officially notifying the administration of the CSCEU and providing a replacement approved by the dean they will forfeit all the hours they have taught in this course and will not be considered for any future courses at the CSCEU. 16- If an instructor has any dispute or suggestions, it should be raised with their academic coordinator or the administration immediately, and any strike action taken by the instructor will not be tolerated and will result in termination of the contract. 17- Instructors are to follow the curriculum and time schedule and ensure they are delivering their best to their students. Note : 1- Classes could be rotated between teachers when it's required. |
