Title IX. Hill College strives to maintain a work and educational environment free from discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, stalking, rape, dating and domestic violence, and related retaliation in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. Title IX. 5.1 Each college district is required to comply with the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act, the Campus SaVE Act, and Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Compliance with these federal laws and associated regulations requires institutions of higher education to adopt and implement programs designed to prevent and respond to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and stalking. This program is typically referred to as “Title IX.”
Title IX. Title IX protects individuals from discrimination based on sex, including sexual harassment. XXX xxxxxxx a learning and working environment built on respect and free of sexual harassment. ASU’s Title IX Guidance is available online. Facility will: (i) comply with ASU’s Title IX Guidance; (ii) provide ASU’s Title IX Guidance to any Facility Parties reasonably expected to interact with ASU students or employees, in person or online; and (iii) ensure that all Facility Parties comply with ASU’s Title IX Guidance.
Title IX. University strictly adheres to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the federal Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act; United States Department of Education regulations and directives; and the University’s sexual harassment policy and procedures (“Regulations”). Specifically, the Regulations apply to all students, employees, visitors, and other third parties on University-controlled property, including institutions and entities with whom University places its students. Further, such Regulations prohibit unequal treatment on the basis of sex as well as sexual harassment and sexual misconduct. As a condition of employment, enrollment, doing business, or being permitted on the campus, the above-mentioned individuals, organizations, and entities must agree to: 1) Report immediately to the Title IX coordinator any and all claims of sex discrimination or sexual misconduct; 2) Cooperate with University’s Title IX investigation; and, 3) Cooperate fully with all sanctions that University may impose against such individual, organization, or entity, who is found to have violated the Regulations. If the individual, organization, or entity fails to adhere to any of the aforementioned requirements, University reserves the right to take appropriate action, including but not necessarily limited to, immediate removal from campus; discipline of employees and students (including termination of employment and/or expulsion from school); and termination of business or contractual relationships.

Title IX. When a Title IX complaint or an allegation of a Title IX violation is received by the College, any resulting Title IX investigation has priority over any related investigation or discipline under the Agreement. A Title IX investigation is a fact-finding process and is not disciplinary. If the investigation finds the complaint or allegation to have merit, any further action in regards to the employee shall be conducted under the provisions of the Agreement. Information obtained during the Title IX investigation may be used in any subsequent investigation or disciplinary action. The employee has the right to representation at any meeting they are to attend.
Title IX. The University will observe Executive Policy #15 Policy Prohibiting Discrimination and Harassment and amendments. The University will follow identified procedures to address actions implicating Title IX for employees whose positions are covered by this Agreement, on the same basis as non-represented staff.

Title IX. Title IX protects individuals from discrimination based on sex including sexual harassment. ASU fosters a learning and working environment that is built on respect and free of sexual harassment. This commitment is set forth in the document “Internships and an Environment of Respect,” xxxx://xxx.xxx.xxx/titleIX/Internships-and-an-Environment-of-Respect.pdf. Educational Coordinators are required to review this document before interacting with ASU students and agree to comply with this document and to provide this document to any employee who may reasonably be expected to interact with an ASU student.
Title IX. In an effort to comply with Federal regulations the following Articles shall not apply to investigations, hearings, and decisions regarding formal Title IX complaints against employees: Article 30.4, Article 30.6, Article 30.8, Article 30.9, and Article 31, in its entirety.
Title IX. In accordance with Article 30.10, this article, in its entirety, shall not apply to investigations, hearings, and decisions regarding formal Title IX complaints against employees. Title IX investigations, hearings, and decisions shall be conducted in accordance with, and subject to, applicable law and Evergreen policy. Should the Federal Title IX regulations change substantially, either party may request to open discussions regarding Article 31.7.
