Return of assets. Without prejudice to the legislation of the Republic of Rwanda and rights of third parties, and upon request by the Minister in charge of justice, any asset which is found on the territory of the Republic of Rwanda acquired as a result of the offence or which may be required as evidence, shall be returned to the requesting State upon its request and if extradition is granted. Upon request by the requesting State, the asset referred to under Paragraph One of this Article may be returned to that State even if the extradition cannot be granted.
