Competent court to hear extradition matters. All extradition matters shall be adjudicated by the High Court. The Public Prosecution or the person whose extradition is requested shall be the only ones who are allowed to file a case and all documents in relation to extradition before the High Court. However, if the requested person is a military or the offence levelled against him/her was committed when he/she was a military, the action shall be instituted before the Military High Court.
