Teaching Faculty definition

Teaching Faculty as used herein shall mean the same as faculty appointment.
Teaching Faculty means any full-time academic or academic- administrative employee providing instruction, at least half time, averaged over an academic year. Department Chairs, officers of the Faculty, and representatives of the California State University Academic Senate will not cease to be "Teaching Faculty" because of any reassigned time allotted to them by virtue of their offices.

Teaching Faculty means Laboratory Instructors, Lecturers, Senior Lecturers, and University Lecturers.
Teaching Faculty means the full-time employees of the University whose principal duty is the performance of the teaching function or research function of the University, including the employees holding the offices of Dean, Chair, Assistant Chair or Associate Chair of a department, or Academic Director; provided that an individual shall only be considered to be a full-time employee for the purposes of this definition if he or she is a regular faculty member or probationer.
Teaching Faculty means the faculty responsible for the delivery of a course. For Students in non-credit courses or programs of study, the head of the teaching unit for that course or program of study acts as the Dean of the Teaching Faculty.
Teaching Faculty means all persons whose duties are primarily academic in nature, including teaching, research or public service. Persons whose duties include both academic and administrative responsibilities, shall be considered "Teaching Faculty" hereunder to the extent of their academic appointment.
Teaching Faculty means a Member of the Association who is an Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Teaching Professor.
Teaching Faculty as used in this Agreement shall refer collectively to Bargaining Unit Members who hold the title of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor. The term "Librarian" as used in this Agreement shall refer collectively to Bargaining Unit Members who hold the title of Assistant Professor/Librarian, Associate Professor/Librarian or Professor/Librarian.
