Settlement Check definition

Settlement Check means the negotiable checks to be sent to those Settlement Class Members who submit Valid Claim Forms.
Settlement Check means the payment to be made to a Participating Settlement Class Member pursuant to Section IV.

  • For any Settlement Check returned to the Settlement Administrator as undeliverable (including, but not limited to, when the intended recipient is no longer located at the address), the Settlement Administrator shall make reasonable efforts to locate a valid address and resend the Settlement Payment within thirty (30) days after the check is returned to the Settlement Administrator as undeliverable.

  • If the Settlement Administrator is notified that a Participating Settlement Class Member is deceased, the Settlement Administrator is authorized to reissue the Settlement Check to the Participating Settlement Class Member’s estate upon receiving proof the Participating Settlement Class Member is deceased and after consultation with Class Counsel.

  • You will have 180 days to cash the FLSA Settlement Check that will be sent to you.

  • NOTE-If you cash, deposit, or otherwise negotiate your Rule 23 Settlement Check, you will also release your federal FLSA claims relating to your work in Alaska, California, Illinois, Minnesota, Ohio, and Washington, as applicable.

  • You do not have to opt in to the Actions to receive your Rule 23 Settlement Check.


More Definitions of Settlement Check

Settlement Check or “Settlement Checks” means the check(s) containing the sum that such Settlement Class Member(s) is (are) entitled to receive as payment under this Agreement, in accordance with the procedures set forth in Sections 6 and 7 below, after submitting a timely, accurate, and complete Claim Form.
Settlement Check means the negotiable checks to be sent to Settlement Class Members.
