Secure Areas definition

Secure Areas means any area where: i. Contractors administer or assist in the administration of County programs; ii. PII is used or disclosed; or iii. PII is stored in paper or electronic format.

  • The Port Authority shall require the observance of certain security procedures with respect to Secure Areas, which may include the escort to, at, and/or from said high security areas by security personnel designated by the Contractor or any subcontractor's personnel required to work therein.

More Definitions of Secure Areas

Secure Areas means the portion of the premises described as such on Exhibit C to the Declaration.
Secure Areas means the restricted access areas located within (i) that certain building containing approximately 29,600 square feet of rentable area, commonly referred to as the “Original Vivarium” and (ii) that certain building containing approximately 60,000 square feet of rentable area, commonly referred to as the “New Vivarium” in which access to such areas is restricted in order to provide a specific pathogen free environment, such restricted access areas being commonly referred to as the “area behind the barrier.”

Secure Areas means certain areas of the Leased Premises designated by Tenant into which Landlord shall not have access except in the event of an emergency. Landlord shall not be obligated to provide janitorial services or repair services to the Secure Areas unless Tenant provides Landlord access to the Secure Areas and Landlord shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury therein, except for the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Landlord. Landlord shall incur no liability to Tenant for such entry, nor shall such entry constitute an eviction of Tenant or a termination of this Lease, or entitle Tenant to any abatement of rent therefor, unless Tenant's business is materially disrupted for three (3) or more consecutive business days as a result of a cause within Landlord's control and which Landlord has the ability to cure, in which case all Minimum Annual Rental and Annual Rental Adjustment attributable to the portion of the Leased Premises in which Tenant's business is disrupted shall be abated until such disruption ceases.
Secure Areas. Except in the event of emergency, Landlord, its employees and agents shall not access such Secure Areas unless accompanied by a designee of Tenant; provided, however, that Tenant's refusal or failure to provide such a designee in a particular instance during normal Building Hours after reasonable prior notice shall permit Landlord, its employees and agents unaccompanied access to the Secure Areas in such instance. If Tenant provides access to such Secure Areas to the provider of janitorial services to the remainder of the Premises, and pays directly (and not as part of Operating Charges) any premium charged by such provider due to the restricted access to the Secure Area or the nature of such Secure Area, then such janitorial services shall be provided as set forth in Article XIV; provided, however, that notwithstanding anything in Article XIV to the contrary, if Tenant fails to provide such access, then (a) Landlord shall not be responsible for providing janitorial services to any Secure Areas, (b) Tenant shall be required to provide janitorial services to such areas, and (c) Tenant shall not receive any reduction of Base Rent or abatement of increases in Operating Charges in connection with the lack of janitorial services to such areas. Tenant shall reimburse Landlord for, and shall indemnify, defend upon request and hold Landlord, its employees and agents harmless from and against, all costs, damages, claims, liabilities, expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees), losses and court costs suffered by or claimed against Landlord, directly or indirectly, based on or arising out of, in whole or in part, the limitation of Landlord's access to any Secure Area.
Secure Areas. Restrict, control and monitor all physical and logical areas in Consultant’s IT environments that contain City private and confidential information, servers, switches, developers and administrators’ work areas, or other operationally sensitive equipment (“Secure Area”). Physical Secure Areas controls are addressed are addressed in Physical Controls (Section 2.4).
