Relevant Period definition

Relevant Period means the period from the passing of this resolution until whichever is the earliest of:
Relevant Period means the later of (a) the period of 8 weeks commencing on the day after the last day on which the Agency Worker worked for the Hirer having been supplied by the Employment Business; or (b) the period of 14 weeks commencing on the first day on which the Agency Worker worked for the Hirer having been supplied by Employment Business or 14 weeks from the first day of the most recent Assignment where there has been a break of more than 6 weeks (42 days) since any previous assignment;
Relevant Period means a period of 8 years beginning with the acquisition of a Share by a Shareholder and each subsequent period of 8 years beginning immediately after the preceding Relevant Period.

Examples of Relevant Period in a sentence

At all times during the Relevant Period a resolution shall be a Special Resolution when it has been passed by a majority of not less than ¾ of the votes cast by such Shareholders as, being entitled so to do, vote in person or by proxy or, in the cases of Shareholders which are corporations, by their respective duly authorised representatives at a general meeting of which notice specifying the intention to propose the resolution as a special resolution has been duly given.

Para 3(2) (c) During the Relevant Period (except when the Register is closed), any Shareholder App.13 Part B may inspect during business hours any Register maintained in Hong Kong without charge and require the provision to him of copies or extracts thereof in all respects as if the Company were incorporated under and were subject to the Companies Ordinance.

Save for the Sale Shares under the Sale and Purchase Agreement, none of the Offeror or parties acting in concert with it has dealt for value nor owned any Share or relevant securities (as defined in Note 4 to Rule 22 of the Takeovers Code) of the Company during the Relevant Period.

Save as disclosed above, (i) as at the Latest Practicable Date, none of the Offeror and parties acting in concert with it owned or controlled any relevant securities (as defined in Note 4 to Rule 22 of the Takeovers Code) of the Company; and (ii) none of the Offeror and parties acting in concert with it had dealt for value in any relevant securities (as defined in Note 4 to Rule 22 of the Takeovers Code) of the Company during the Relevant Period.

During the Relevant Period, the highest closing price of the Shares quoted on the Stock Exchange was HK$0.780 per Share on 19 December 2018 and the lowest closing price of the Shares quoted on the Stock Exchange was HK$0.190 per Share on 4 April 2019.


More Definitions of Relevant Period

Relevant Period means the period of 12 months ending with the day on which M gives a notification for the purposes of section 30(1) or 31(7), as the case may be, of the Act;
