Examples of Qualifying Shareholders in a sentence
Pursuant to Rule 14A.92(2) of the Listing Rules, as Mega Medical has made arrangements for the Qualifying Shareholders to apply for the Rights Shares in excess of their entitlements under the Rights Issue in compliance with Rule 7.21(1) of the Listing Rules, the Underwriting Agreement is exempted from the reporting, announcement, and independent Shareholders’ approval requirements under Chapter 14A of the Listing Rules.
As to whether to take up the entitlement of the Rights Issue If the Rights Issue, the Underwriting Agreement and the Whitewash Waiver are approved at the SGM, and upon all the conditions of the Rights Issue are fulfilled, the Qualifying Shareholders will be entitled to the Rights Issue.
The Qualifying Shareholders are reminded that their decisions to acquire the Shares in the open market, instead of taking up their own entitlement provisionally allotted to them are subject to their individual circumstances and investment objectives.
Furthermore, those Qualifying Shareholders who wish to increase their shareholding interests in the Company cannot acquire additional nil-paid Rights Shares in the market in the case of an open offer.
