Publicly Funded definition

Publicly Funded means financial support in part or in full with revenue generated by a local, state, or federal government.
Publicly Funded means controlled by an agency of government or by a public corporation as occurs in Oregon community colleges, institutions of higher education, and the Oregon Health & Science University, regardless of specific sources and applications of funds, or controlled by a private entity but subsidized with appropriated public funds received directly for program operation rather than indirectly in the form of student financial aid.
Publicly Funded means a land development, such as a public road or municipal building that is being funded solely by a unit of government. It does not include new roads or other structures built with private funds, or a combination of public and private funds, and subsequently dedicated to a unit of government.
