When call details are insufficient to determine the jurisdiction for the call, the CLEC will identify in writing the Percent Local Usage (PLU) factor on each Interconnection order to identify its Local Traffic for Reciprocal Compensation purposes.
Percent Local Usage (PLU) is defined as a factor to be applied to intrastate terminating minutes of use.
Under each of subsections (A) and (B) above, where Verizon uses Percent Interstate Usage (“PIU”) and Percent Local Usage (“PLU”) factors for purposes of Verizon’s billing of transport to AT&T pursuant to the Interconnection Agreement, AT&T shall apply to such billing of Verizon the same PIU and PLU factors, where applicable, that AT&T provides to Verizon, which factors may be calculated by AT&T on a total volume-weighted statewide or LATA-wide basis as agreed upon by the Parties.
If required, SPRINT and VERIZON will reciprocally provide Percent Local Usage (“PLU”) factors to each other on a semi-annual basis to identify the proper percent of Local Traffic carried on local interconnection trunks.
In the event MCIm chooses to deliver both types of traffic over the same traffic exchange trunks, and desires application of the local call transport and termination rates, it will provide Percent Local Usage (“PLU”) information to Bell Atlantic as set forth in Attachment IV.
