Open Source Licenses shall include Copyleft Licenses.

Examples of Open Source Licenses in a sentence

  • Licensor shall provide a list of Open Source Licenses for a particular version of the Software in the Software user documentation.

  • By obtaining, accessing, downloading and/or using Software or the Open Source Software, you agree that you have read, and understood, and will comply with, the terms and conditions of the applicable Open Source Licenses in addition to all other the terms applicable to Software under this Agreement.

  • With respect to any files, programs or other materials distributed in connection with the Software that have been licensed to Xilinx from third parties and which are not governed by a separate license as mentioned in Section 3(b) (Third-Party and Open Source Licenses) above, such third parties are intended third-party beneficiaries of the terms of this Agreement.

  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software save where explicitly permitted by law or by applicable Open Source Licenses.

  • The following provisions of this Agreement survive its termination: 1 (Definitions) and all defined terms, 2 (Authorization Codes), 3b (Third-Party and Open Source Licenses) to the extent not separately terminated according to the terms of such licenses, 4 (Restrictions), 5 (Payment; Taxes) for all unpaid amounts, 6 (Ownership), 7 (Confidentiality), 10 (Disclaimers), 11 (Limitation of Liability), 12 (Termination) and 14 (General).


More Definitions of Open Source Licenses

Open Source Licenses means licenses for the Open Source Software as defined below.
Open Source Licenses have the respective meanings set out in Section 3.11. "Orbolt Website" has the meaning set out in Section 3.10.
Open Source Licenses means any license meeting the Open Source Definition (as promulgated by the Open Source Initiative) or the Free Software Definition (as promulgated by the Free Software Foundation), or any substantially similar license, including any license approved by the Open Source Initiative, or any Creative Commons License. For the avoidance of doubt, Open Source Licenses include Copyleft Licenses. For purposes of this provision, “Copyleft Licenses” shall mean any license that requires, as a condition of use, modification or distribution of Copyleft materials, that such Copyleft materials, or other software or other Intellectual Property incorporated into, derived from, used or distributed with such Copyleft materials: (i) in the case of software, be made available or distributed in Source Code form, (ii) be licensed for the purpose of preparing derivative works, (iii) be licensed under terms that allow the Company Products (or portions thereof or interfaces therefor) or Company Intellectual Property Rights to be reverse engineered, reverse assembled or disassembled (other than by operation of Law), or (iv) be redistributable. Copyleft Licenses include the GNU General Public License, the GNU Lesser General Public License, the Mozilla Public License, the Common Development and Distribution License, the Eclipse Public License and all Creative Commons “sharealike” licenses.
Open Source Licenses means the applicable open-source license(s) that govern(s) the Software (for example, GPLv3 (the GNU General Public License, Version 3)).
Open Source Licenses means any license that requires, as a condition of modification, licensing, conveyance or distribution of Software subject to such license, that such Software or other Software combined, linked or distributed with or derived from such Software (or any modifications or derivative works thereof) be disclosed, licensed, conveyed, distributed or made available in source code form or on a royalty-free basis (including for the purpose of making additional copies or derivative works).
Open Source Licenses means any license that is approved by the Open Source Initiative and listed at xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxx.xxx/licenses or the Free Software Foundation and listed at xxxxx://xxx.xxx.xxx/licenses/license-list.en.html, and any similar license for “free,” “publicly available” or “open source” software.
