Mitigation by Custodian. Upon the occurrence of any event which causes or may cause any loss, damage or expense to the Fund, (i) the Custodian shall, (ii) the Custodian shall cause any applicable Domestic Subcustodian or Foreign Sub-Subcustodian to, and (iii) the Custodian shall use its best efforts to cause any applicable Interim Sub-Subcustodian or Special Subcustodian to, use all commercially reasonable efforts and take all reasonable steps under the circumstances to mitigate the effects of such event and to avoid continuing harm to the Fund.
Mitigation by Custodian. Upon the occurrence of any event which causes or may cause any loss, damage or expense to the Funds, the Custodian shall use all commercially reasonable efforts and shall take all reasonable steps under the circumstances to mitigate the effects of such event and to avoid continuing harm to the Funds.

Upon the occurrence of any event which causes or may cause any loss, damage or expense to any Fund or Portfolio, (i) the Custodian shall promptly notify the applicable Fund or Portfolio of the occurrence of such event, (ii) the Custodian shall cause any applicable Domestic Subcustodian or Foreign Subcustodian to, and (iii) the Custodian shall use its best efforts to cause any applicable Interim Subcustodian, Special Subcustodian or Eligible Securities Depository to, use all commercially reasonable efforts and take all reasonable steps under the circumstances to mitigate the effects of such event and to avoid continuing harm to the Funds and the Portfolios.

Upon the occurrence of any event that causes or that the Custodian believes or a Fund reasonably believes will imminently cause any loss, damage or expense to any Fund or Series, the Custodian (i) shall take and (ii) shall take all reasonable steps to cause any applicable Domestic Subcustodian or Foreign Subcustodian to take all commercially reasonable steps to mitigate the effects of such event and to avoid continuing harm to a Fund or Series. If the Custodian must seek Proper Instructions from a Fund or Series in order either to take such commercially reasonable steps itself or to take all reasonable steps to cause any applicable Domestic Subcustodian or Foreign Subcustodian to take all commercially reasonable steps and timely requests such Proper Instructions, but the applicable Fund or Series does not provide such Proper Instructions, the Custodian (both as to itself and with respect to any applicable Subcustodian) shall have no further obligations under this Section 6.01(d).

Upon the occurrence of any event connected with the duties of the Custodian under this Contract which causes or may cause any loss, damage or expense to the Fund, (i) the Custodian shall, and (ii) shall exercise reasonable efforts to cause any subcustodian to, use reasonable efforts and take all reasonable steps under the circumstances to mitigate the effects of such event and to avoid continuing harm to the Fund.
Mitigation by Custodian. Upon the occurrence of any event which causes or may cause any loss, damage or expense to the Fund or any Portfolio, (i) the Custodian shall promptly notify the Fund or Portfolio of the occurrence of such event, (ii) the Custodian shall cause any applicable Sub-Custodian to, and (iii) the Custodian shall use its best efforts to cause any applicable Sub-Custodian or Eligible Securities Depository to, use all commercially reasonable efforts and take all reasonable steps under the circumstances to mitigate the effects of such event and to avoid continuing harm to the Fund and its Portfolios.
Mitigation by Custodian. Upon the occurrence of any event which causes or may cause any loss, damage or expense to the Client or any Portfolio, the Custodian shall promptly notify the Client or Portfolio of the occurrence of such event. In addition, (i) the Custodian shall mitigate, (ii) the Custodian shall cause any applicable Subcustodian to mitigate, and (iii) the Custodian shall use commercially reasonable efforts to cause any Clearance System to mitigate, the effects of such event and to avoid continuing harm to the Client and its Portfolios.
Mitigation by Custodian. Upon the occurrence of any event connected with the Custodian under this Agreement which causes or may cause any loss, damage or expense to the Trust or any Portfolio, the Custodian shall, and shall exercise reasonable efforts to cause any Foreign Sub-Custodian to, use reasonable efforts under the circumstances to mitigate the effect of such event and to avoid continuing harm to the Trust and the Portfolios.
