Only four Conventions were not revised by the MLC, 2006: the Seafarers’ Identity Documents Convention, 1958 (No. 108), the Seafarers’ Identity Documents Convention (Revised), 2003 (No. 185), the Seafarers’ Pensions Convention, 1946 (No. 71), and the Minimum Age (Trimmers and Stokers) Convention, 1921 (No. 15).
Minimum Age for Admission to Kindergarten:Districts shall admit a pupil into kindergarten at the beginning of the school year, or at a later time in the same school year, if the pupil will be 5 years of age on or before September 1 of the school year.
These limitations are consistent with the ILO Convention on Minimum Age.
