Merged Plan definition

Merged Plan means the 2005 Anthem SERP, the 2005 Anthem Plan, the 2005 Trigon Plan or the 2005 Trigon SERP.
Merged Plan means the Owens Corning Merged Retirement Plan.
Merged Plan means any plan of an Acquired Company or any Affiliate the assets of which have been merged or combined, in whole or in part, with assets of this Plan and whose participants have become Participants in this Plan or a Prior Plan.

Examples of Merged Plan in a sentence

  • To the extent the Committee has not received investment direction from a Participant before December 15, 2005 with respect to his or her Predecessor Plan Account or Merged Plan account, such Predecessor Plan Account or Merged Plan account shall be credited with earnings based upon a default investment option under the Savings Plan designated as such by the Committee or in accordance with such other rules as may be adopted by the Committee and applied on a consistent, uniform basis.

  • OCD and any other of the Reorganized Debtors whose employees are covered by the Merged Plan shall assume and continue the Merged Plan, satisfy the minimum funding standards pursuant to 26 U.S.C. § 412 and 29 U.S.C. § 1082, and administer the Merged Plan in accordance with its terms and the provisions of ERISA.

  • Before January 1, 2006, the Committee shall prescribe rules (that may vary among classes of Participants) that provide each Predecessor Plan Participant (and Participant with a Merged Plan account balance) an opportunity to select the investment fund or funds or index or indices to be used as the basis for crediting his or her Predecessor Plan Account (or Merged Plan account) with earnings as of January 1, 2006.

  • Before January 1, 2006, amounts representing Predecessor Plan Account balances and account balances from Merged Plans were credited with earnings based on investment options available under the Predecessor Plan or Merged Plan to which they related.

  • Further, nothing in the Plan of Reorganization shall be construed in any way as discharging, releasing or relieving the Debtors or the Debtors’ successors, including the Reorganized Debtors, or any party, in any capacity, from liability imposed under any law or regulatory provision with respect to the Merged Plan or Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.


More Definitions of Merged Plan

Merged Plan means a qualified defined contribution plan that was maintained by an Employer or by a predecessor to an Employer before the plan was merged into this Plan. Certain provisions of each Merged Plan that are grandfathered under this Plan are described in Addendum B.
Merged Plan or “Merged Plans” shall mean one or more of the ITT Aerospace Controls Savings Plan for Hourly Employees, the ITT Control Technologies Savings Plan for Hourly Employees (reflecting the merger into that plan of the ITT Conoflow Savings Plan for Hourly Employees as of December 31, 2012) , the ITT Cannon Savings Plan for Hourly Employees, the ITT BIW Connector Systems Employees’ Savings Plan, and the ITT Engineered Valves -- Fabri Savings Plan for Hourly Employees, which were merged into the Plan as of the close of business on December 31, 2013, or the Pro Cast and Goulds Pumps Service Center Employees’ Savings Plan (the “Pro Cast Plan”), the assets and liabilities of which were transferred to the Plan from the ITT Industrial Process Retirement Savings Plan for Bargaining Unit Employees on January 1, 2014. Special rules for individuals with accounts transferred from the Merged Plans are set forth in Appendix J.
Merged Plan means a qualified plan previously maintained by an Affiliated Organization which has been merged with or consolidated into this Plan.
Merged Plan means the plan that results from the merger of the Plan and one or more other multi- employer plans.
Merged Plan means the retirement plans listed on Appendix A, either individually or collectively as the case may be.
Merged Plan means the Business Media 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, the SRDS Profit Sharing and Savings Plan, the Nielsen Media Research, Inc. Savings Plan, the ACNielsen Corporation Savings Plan and the ACNielsen BASES 401(k) Plan, all of which were merged into this Plan on December 31, 2002.
Merged Plan means any plan that has been merged into the Plan from time to time.
