Meet and Confer definition

Meet and Confer means the exchange of views and concerns between the Employer and the Association.
Meet and Confer means a good faith conference in person or by telephone to attempt to resolve the matter in dispute without the court’s involvement. The court expects a high degree of professionalism and collegiality among counsel during any meet and confer conference.
Meet and Confer procedures mean the procedures established by Section 8.7 of this Settlement.

Examples of Meet and Confer in a sentence

  • By mutual written consent between the parties, an appeal submitted after February 1st may be submitted for consideration by the Meet and Confer Council.

  • When the agreement expires, the parties will be governed by Chapter 143 of the Texas Local Government Code, unless replaced by a new Meet and Confer Agreement between the parties.

Meet and Confer will mean an obligation to meet and provide information relating to a specific issue with the intent of resolving such issue.
Meet and Confer. Meet and confer means to meet at reasonable times, to confer in good faith, and to endeavor to reach agreement.
