Local Indian definition

Local Indian means any member of a federally-recognized tribe who resides within the exterior boundaries of the Tohono O’odham Nation or has lived near the Tohono O’odham Nation for no less than 60 days prior to the start of the project at issue. The term “near” shall be defined in regulations by the Commission.
Local Indian means any Indian who resides within the lands and territories of the Colville Reservation, or within thirty-five miles of said lands and territories.

Local Indian means any member of a federally-recognized tribe who has resided within the exterior boundaries of the Reservation or within reasonable commuting distance of the Reservation for at least 60 days prior to asserting a right granted by this Ordinance.
