The City is authorized by the Wyoming Joint Powers Act, Sections 16-1-101 to 16-1-110, Wyoming Statutes, to form a joint powers board to exercise certain express powers.
The purpose of this Agreement is to establish a public entity for the joint exercise of powers common to the Members and for the exercise of additional powers given to a joint powers entity under the Joint Powers Act or any other applicable law, including, but not limited to, the issuance of Bonds for any purpose or activity permitted under the Joint Exercise of Powers Act or any other applicable law.
These powers afforded pursuant to the Wyoming Joint Powers Act may be subject to limitations or conditions contained herein or any bylaws which may be adopted pursuant to this Agreement.
