Gatekeeper definition

Gatekeeper has the meaning set forth in Section 2.4.1.
Gatekeeper means requiring a referral from a primary care or direct access provider or practitioner to access specialty or in- patient services.
Gatekeeper means an agency identified in IC 12-24-12-2 or IC 12-24-12-10 that is actively involved in the evaluation and planning of treatment for an individual committed to a state institution beginning after the commitment through the planning of the individual’s transition back into the community, including case management services for the individual in the community.
