Field work definition

Field work means official work requiring the employee’s presence at various locations other than his/her regular place of work. (Multiple stops (itinerant-type travel) within the accepted local commuting area, limited use beyond the local commuting area, or transportation to remote loca- tions that are only accessible by Government-provided trans- portation are examples of field work.)

Field work means working away from an office or laboratory, out in the open and generally in rural or remote areas, conducting various land-based activities. It often involves working long and/or irregular hours.

Field work means the Consultant’s work at an assignment location other than the city or province where the Consultant holds permanent residence or office.

More Definitions of Field work

Field work means that work performed by a land surveyor on the ground in connection with the parcel or tract being surveyed.
