Extra-curricular activities definition

Extra-curricular activities means student-related athletic, social, leadership, recreational and cultural activities, occurring outside the normal school day, but does not include activities related to academic or instructional matters or curriculum subjects outside the normal school day, whether such occur alone or with students, parents or administrative staff, such as (without limitation) staff meetings, parent/teacher meetings, committee work, in-service sessions, marking and setting examinations, or marking school assignments.
Extra-curricular activities are defined as those activities which occur outside regular school hours or beyond Yukon curricula and programs.
Extra-curricular activities means those school-related activities which are not directly related to the curriculum or part of the Teacher's administrative or supervisory duties.

The students enrolled in these courses will be notified at the beginning of each semester, if possible, which activities or performances they will be precluded from participating in and the alternative assignments.
