Discount Factor definition

Discount Factor means the percentage discount applied to additional APCs when more than one APC is provided during the same visit (including the same APC provided more than once). Not all APCs are subject to a discount factor.
Discount Factor means a percentage calculated to provide Buyer with a reasonable return on its investment in the Receivables after taking account of (i) the time value of money based upon the anticipated dates of collection of the Receivables and the cost to Buyer of financing its investment in the Receivables during such period and (ii) the risk of nonpayment by the Obligors. Originator and Buyer may agree from time to time to change the Discount Factor based on changes in one or more of the items affecting the calculation thereof, provided that any change to the Discount Factor shall take effect as of the commencement of a Calculation Period, shall apply only prospectively and shall not affect the Purchase Price payment made prior to the Calculation Period during which Originator and Buyer agree to make such change.
Discount Factor means a Moody’s Discount Factor.

Examples of Discount Factor in a sentence

  • The Moody's Discount Factor for any Moody's Eligible Asset other than the securities set forth below will be the percentage provided in writing by Moody's.

  • If the third-party credit rating is the basis for the rating on the obligation, then the rating on the third party will be used to determine the Fitch Discount Factor in the table.

  • If a security is not rated by Fitch but is rated by only one other NRSRO, then the rating on the security from the other NRSRO will be used to determine the Fitch Discount Factor (e.g., where the only rating on a security is an S&P rating of AAA, a Fitch rating of AAA will be used, and where the only rating on a security is a Moody's rating of Ba, a Fitch rating of BB will be used).

More Definitions of Discount Factor

Discount Factor means, with respect to each Collateral Obligation and as of any date of determination, the value (expressed as a percentage of par) of such Collateral Obligation as determined by the Facility Agent in its sole discretion in accordance with Section 2.7.

Discount Factor means (a) so long as Moody’s is rating the Series A Preferred Shares at the Trust’s request, the Moody’s Discount Factor, or (b) any applicable discount factor established by any Other Rating Agency, whichever is applicable.
