Deregistration definition

Deregistration. If an Event of Default occurs, Lessor may sell or otherwise deal with the Aircraft free and clear of any leasehold or other interest of Lessee as if this Agreement had never been made and Lessee will at the request of Lessor take all steps necessary to effect (if applicable) deregistration of the Aircraft and its export from the country where the Aircraft is for the time being situated and any other steps necessary to enable the Aircraft to be redelivered to Lessor in accordance with this Agreement; Lessee hereby irrevocably and by way of security for its obligations under this Agreement appoints (which appointment is coupled with an interest) Lessor as its attorney to execute and deliver any documentation and to do any act or thing required in connection with the foregoing.
