Departmental Representative definition

Departmental Representative means the person designated in the Contract, or by written notice to the Contractor, to act as the Departmental Representative for the purposes of the Contract, and includes a person, designated and authorized in writing by the Departmental Representative to the Contractor;
Departmental Representative means the Project Authority who is the representative of the department or agency for whom the Work will be carried out pursuant to a call-up against the Standing Offer and is responsible for all the technical content of the Work under the resulting Contract.
Departmental Representative means any person authorized by the Minister for the purpose of the Standing Offer. Any proposed changes to the scope of the Work are to be discussed with the Departmental Representative, but any resulting change can only be confirmed by a Standing Offer amendment issued by the Contracting Authority.

  • The Departmental Representative may meet with the designated MCO Representative(s) to attempt to resolve the grievance; however, such meeting shall occur concerning suspension without pay, unsatisfactory rating (for non-probationary employees only), discharge or demotion.
