Current Dollars means the figure represented by the total of the cost estimate multiplied by the current annual inflation factor.

More Definitions of Current Dollars

Current Dollars means a dollar amount calculated by multiplying a dollar amount specified in this Lease by a fraction, the numerator of which is the CPI Index last published prior to the relevant date, and the denominator of which is the CPI Index last published prior to the Commencement Date. “CPI Index” shall mean Consumer Price Index — Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose, CA, All Items, Base 1982-84=100), published by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, or if such index is no longer published, the U.S. Department of Labor’s most comprehensive official index then in use that most nearly corresponds to the index named above. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, in no event shall any amounts to be paid in Current Dollars ever be decreased on account of a decrease in the value of the U.S. dollar and/or the calculations being made herein.
