COVERED PART definition

COVERED PART. Means any part or component of the VEHICLE that is not specifically excluded from COVERAGE under this CONTRACT (see section B. titled “COVERAGE Description”).

COVERED PART means an item listed as a Covered Part, based on the coverage You selected, as defined in the section titled “Covered Parts”. • Covered Breakdown, Breakdown, or Mechanical Breakdown means the event caused by the total failure of any Covered Part to work as it was designed to work in normal service. Breakdown or Mechanical Breakdown does not include gradual reduction in operating performance or failure resulting from wear and tear or ordinary use.

COVERED PART means that part or parts of a covered vehicle which we have agreed to cover in the coverage plan that applies to the covered vehicle shown on the declarations page and which is not specifically excluded in the section "What is Not Covered and Non-Covered Parts".

Examples of COVERED PART in a sentence

• A COVERED PART has failed when it can no longer perform the function for which it was designed solely because of its condition.

• Liability shall be limited to the reasonable price for repair or replacement of any COVERED PART and the reasonable amount of labor time needed for the repair or replacement of any COVERED PART as based on a nationally recognized guide as selected by the ADMINISTRATOR (maximum labor rate as specified in Section F.13 of YOUR CONTRACT).

• The failure of a COVERED PART under normal service and usage of the VEHICLE.

• WE will not reimburse for repair costs or expenses if YOU cannot provide accurate records proving that You have maintained the failed COVERED PART.

• Parts not listed for COVERAGE that are damaged by a COVERED PART.

COVERED PART. Means any part or component of the VEHICLE that is not specifically excluded fromCOVERAGE under this CONTRACT (see section B. titled “COVERAGE Description”).
