Contract Interpretation. The Contract Documents completely describe the Services to be provided. Contractor will provide any Services that may reasonably be inferred from the Contract Documents or from prevailing custom or trade usage as being required to produce the intended result whether or not specifically called for or identified in the Contract Documents. Words or phrases which have a well-known technical or construction industry or trade meaning and are used to describe Services will be interpreted in accordance with that meaning unless a definition has been provided in the Contract Documents.
Contract Interpretation. Should any question arise regarding the meaning or import of any of the provisions of this Contract or written or oral instructions from District, the matter shall be referred to District’s Representative, whose decision shall be binding upon Contractor.
Contract Interpretation. The Contract Documents shall be interpreted in substantial compliance with the corresponding provisions in the current full form Design Professional Services Contract, a copy of which may be obtained from the Owner, and shall be construed neither against nor in favor of either party, but shall be construed in a neutral manner.
Contract Interpretation. In the event of a claim of misinterpretation or misapplication of this Agreement, the integrity of this Article shall be preserved and provide the paramount premise for interpretation or application of this Agreement.

Ambiguities, inconsistencies, or conflicts in this Agreement shall not be strictly construed against the drafter of the language but will be resolved by applying the most reasonable interpretation under the circumstances, giving full consideration to the parties’ intentions at the time this Agreement is entered into. Where the context of this Agreement requires, singular terms shall be considered plural, and plural terms shall be considered singular.
Contract Interpretation. The parties acknowledge that they have caused this Agreement to be reviewed and approved by legal counsel of their own choice. This Agreement has been specifically negotiated, and any presumption that an ambiguity contained in this Agreement shall be construed against the party that caused this Agreement to be drafted shall not apply to the interpretation of this Agreement.
Contract Interpretation. The only persons qualified to interpret this Agreement on behalf of the Union shall be the President or his designee. The Union shall notify the Employer in writing of the names of the designees within 30 days of the effective date of this Agreement.
Contract Interpretation. Each party acknowledges that it has reviewed this Agreement and that the normal rule of construction to the effect that any ambiguities are to be resolved against the drafting party shall not be employed in the interpretation of this Agreement.
Contract Interpretation. Each party hereto acknowledges that it has had ample opportunity to review and comment on this Agreement. This Agreement shall be read and interpreted according to its plain meaning and an ambiguity shall not be construed against either party. It is expressly agreed by the parties that the judicial rule of construction that a document should be more strictly construed against the draftsperson thereof shall not apply to any provision of this Agreement.
