Configuration Item definition

Configuration Item or "CI" has the meaning given in Part Q of this Schedule 1;
Configuration Item or “CI” means any component or element that needs to be managed in order to deliver a Service. Information about each CI is to be recorded in a Configuration Record within the Configuration Management System and maintained throughout its lifecycle as part of Configuration Management Services. Configuration Management means the discipline responsible for maintaining information about Configuration Items required to deliver an IT service, including their relationships. This information is managed throughout the lifecycle of the CI.
Configuration Item means the UC System (UC Application, Hypervisor, UC Server and UC Appliance) listed in the Record of Entitlement.
