Compatible Pollutants definition

Compatible Pollutants means BOD, suspended solids, phosphorus, nitrogen, pH, or fecal coliform bacteria, plus additional pollutants identified in the Municipality's WPDES permit for its wastewater treatment facility; provided that such facility is designed to treat such additional pollutants, and, in fact, does remove such pollutants to a substantial degree.
Compatible Pollutants means the pollutants that the treatment plant was designed to treat which are BOD, SS, and fecal coliform bacteria. Also included are additional pollutants identified in the NPDES permit if the publicly owned treatment works were designed to treat such pollutants and, in fact, does remove such pollutants to a substantial degree.
