Commodity Reference Price definition

Commodity Reference Price means (a) in the case of a Commodity which is Bullion, the spot price or (b) in the case of a Commodity other than Bullion, the futures contract reference price for the Commodity, both as set out in the applicable Final Terms under the heading "Commodity Reference Price".
Commodity Reference Price means (i) in respect of all Commodities, the Commodity Reference Price specified in the applicable Issue Terms and (ii) in respect of a Commodity Index, the Commodity Reference Price specified in the applicable Issue Terms or, if not so specified, the official closing price or level of such Commodity Index.
Commodity Reference Price means, in respect of any Valuation Date or other relevant date and the Commodity that is:

  • If no such Fallback Price is specified, the parties shall promptly endeavor to agree on an alternative source for determination of such Commodity Reference Price for that day.

  • The Calculation Agent shall determine the Alternative Settlement Price which shall be the price for that Calculation Date of the first Alternate Commodity Reference Price (if any, specified in the applicable Individual Contract), which is not itself subject to a Market Disruption Event; if an Alternate Commodity Reference Price has not been agreed on in the Individual Contract, the next applicable Fallback Mechanism shall apply for the relevant Individual Contract.

  • If a Market Disruption Event occurs on a Pricing Date, then the Commodity Reference Price for such day (a “Missing Day”) shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of the 2005 Commodity Definitions as if no elections had been made.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, the Parties acknowledge, that the Commodity Reference Price (Electricity) is currently subject to a cap imposed by the NYISO and that any change in this cap shall not constitute a Market Disruption Event.

  • If a Commodity Reference Price is not expected to be available for any period (or portion thereof) for any calculation that is required hereunder or under the Buyer Swap or the Seller Swap prior to a relevant calculation being made under any of them, then, upon notice from either Party, the Parties shall promptly endeavor to agree on an alternative source for determination of such Commodity Reference Price for the applicable periods.


More Definitions of Commodity Reference Price

Commodity Reference Price means such reference price as is specified in the applicable Final Terms by reference to the Commodity Reference Prices set out in the Annex to the Commodity Definitions, provided that the applicable Final Terms may specify a Commodity Reference Price that is not set forth in that Annex and instead specify:
Commodity Reference Price has the general meaning specified in § 15.4, and with respect to a Floating Price Individual Contract, as specified in that Floating Price Individual Contract;
