Employees shall be notified of all Schedule B, C, D and E openings, excluding curriculum workshops, music programs, Hearing Impaired, Emotionally Impaired, Learning Disabled, Cognitively Impaired, Early Childhood Special Education, S.T.A.R.S. Program, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Speech and Language Impaired, Adaptive Education, and Vision Impaired.
It is recognized that this Section of the Master Agreement should be implemented when including students identified as Emotionally Impaired, Mildly Cognitively Impaired, Moderately Cognitively Impaired, Severely Cognitively-Impaired, and Autistically-Impaired.

With respect to Severely Multiply Impaired (SXI), Cognitively Impaired (CI), Emotionally Impaired (EI) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) special education students, the special education teacher will have the responsibility for contacting the general education teacher(s) under section d (1) prior to the student entering the regular education classroom(s).
CI (Cognitively Impaired) is a division composed of three classifications: Moderately Cognitively Impaired, (MoCI), Severely Multiply Impaired (SXI) and Severely Cognitively Impaired (SCI), excluding designated categories.
