Cleared Funds definition

Cleared Funds means the proceeds of cheque deposits to your account, once the cheque is cleared, cash deposits and direct credits.
Cleared Funds means money credited to your Account after it has been through the relevant money transmission and clearing system, providing this is not recalled in accordance with the rules of that money transmission and clearing system.

Examples of Cleared Funds in a sentence

  • When Non-Cash Deposits are deposited for credit to an Account, we are not obliged to credit such Account immediately until and unless the Non-Cash Deposits have been cleared, the proceeds have been received and are considered to be Cleared Funds.

  • We may, at our discretion, allow withdrawal of funds that are not Cleared Funds.


More Definitions of Cleared Funds

Cleared Funds means a balance in an Account that is able to be withdrawn or used. Until funds are ‘cleared’ they are considered to be pending.
Cleared Funds means funds that: (i) when received by Firma are not subject to any security interests, encumbrances, statutory deemed trusts or other third party interests or claims of any kind;(ii) which are not subject to chargeback through applicable clearing rules, or otherwise; (iii) are freely transferable; and(iv) are guaranteed, meaning that Firma can immediately draw upon the funds.
