Certified B-reader definition
Certified B-reader means an individual who has successfully completed the x-ray interpretation course sponsored by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and passed the NIOSH examination for certification as a B-reader and whose NIOSH certification is up to date at the time of his or her interpretation of the x-rays. Certified B-reader shall also include an individual who was at one time a certified B-reader and who has not subsequently failed the exam for certification or recertification as a B-reader.
Certified B-reader means an individual qualified as a "final" or "B-reader" as defined in 42 C.F.R. section 37.51(b), as amended.
